In the next weeks, a shortage of medical staff is expected, especially in the intensive care unit (ICU) due to more incoming patients who have to be ventilated. Bottlenecks of the medical staff are expected.
Need
The need is to simplify the organization of the prone position process to avoid
Goal
The overall goal of this project is to support and to simplify the medical staff for Relive Prone Position Process. To meet this goal, three different projects are running parallel for both short- and long-term solutions.
- App Development: Improve the organization and create an agile work planning.
- Taco and Pillow Development: Improve the rotation with less medical staff. Further, the goal is to improve the lying position of the patient.
- Crane – System Development: For an improved rotation of the patient with a reduced number of medical staff.
